Fare handles all packages with care and caution; but, proper packaging is important to ensure your packages travels safely while on route.
How to package your shipment?
Use new rigid corrugated cartons.
Pack securely and ensure each item is wrapped separately with shipping foam, bubble wrap or other shipping material (2 inches between carton walls and goods inside).
Protect sharp and pointed objects with added shipping material.
Separate glass containers with corrugated dividers.
Ship boxes separately - do not bind together.
Secure the lids on liquid filled containers (seal liquid filled containers in plastic bags or packs to prevent spillage) and ensure safety caps on plastic bottles.
Each shipment must be properly labeled with its own individual ICS Courier shipping label.
All previous shipping labels or delivery addresses must be removed from the box or covered as failing to do so may result in your shipment being delayed or lost.
Shipments containing liquids or fragile items must marked as “SPILLABLE” or “FRAGILE” and include an orientation “up” arrow on all sides of the package.
Packages must be sealed securely with appropriate shipping tape.
Please refrain from using string or rope on the exterior of the package.
Note
The contents of a shipment must be held firmly in place by the interior shipping material to ensure it is fully protected from normal external forces, such as pressure exerted due to stacking of shipments, which occurs during standard handling and transportation conditions.
